Purple Door - Deezer x Gazo

Designed as an immersive experience, the Purple Door event created by Deezer around Gazo came to life in a space completely transformed for the occasion. A symbolic choice — the goal was to showcase one of the app’s key features, karaoke, and elevate it into a collective and cultural experience.

Upon arrival, the photocall set the tone. In a dedicated area, a heart-shaped bench, captured from a top-shot, allowed guests to literally place themselves “at the heart of Deezer.” It playfully twisted the traditional photocall format, creating a fun and instantly shareable video moment for social media.

Guests were then invited into a scenography designed for interaction and participation. A heart-shaped mailbox, echoing the brand’s aesthetic, encouraged everyone to either drop off a letter to the artist or pick up exclusive stickers created for the event. This space became a central hub — built for Instagram and TikTok, but also for deepening the connection between Gazo and his audience.

The goal was clear: to highlight Deezer’s features through experience. That night, the spotlight was on karaoke. Song lyrics were projected onto the cap above the stage, visible from every angle, allowing guests to sing freely wherever they stood. Above, a gobo light projection cast Deezer’s logo across the ceiling — ensuring a subtle yet immersive brand presence from the very first moments.

The scenography was filled with symbolic details: a sound-reactive heart suspended above the stage pulsed to Gazo’s voice and the beat of the music — linking space, light, and sound in a full sensory fusion. This installation turned the performance into a total, embodied experience.

The space continued with interactive and visual installations that amplified the experience. Deezer’s heart-shaped logo came to life through custom-made microphones, redesigned in the shape of hearts to mirror the brand identity. These became signature objects, appearing in every video and story, ensuring Deezer’s image remained omnipresent. Special custom microphones were also crafted for Gazo, perfectly aligning his performance with Deezer’s visual universe.

An unexpected touchpoint further deepened the experience: the bathrooms. Each mirror displayed Gazo’s punchlines, turning a simple passageway into a viral content zone. Every selfie or story filmed there naturally carried Deezer’s branding — extending the event’s reach far beyond the live performance.

Ultimately, the Purple Door evening offered a 360° experience, where every detail — from the reimagined karaoke to the interactive touchpoints — intertwined Gazo’s performance with Deezer’s world. A scenography designed to be interactive, immersive, and unforgettable, celebrating a shared energy where music and brand merge into one unified emotion.
