Tinder - School of Swipe
Surface area : 400 m²
Imagined as a school unlike any other, the Tinder School of Swipe came to life as an immersive and generational experience. A school where you don’t come to learn math, history, or sports — but rather to learn how to love, set boundaries, and understand yourself. A pop, funny, and emotional response to the fact that no one ever taught us how to build relationships.
The experience was inspired by an American campus, reinvented to bridge the gap between the digital world of dating apps and real life. Every space along the journey invited interaction, introspection, and connection, turning the use of an app into a collective and cultural experience.
Upon entering, guests walked through the high school grocery store, conceived as the first step in defining their profile. Three aisles structured this playful ritual:
• Who are you – choose an object that represents your personality.
• What do you want – define the type of relationship you’re looking for.
• What do you love – select your passions.
Each participant left with a personalized receipt and a bag of symbolic objects — to keep, gift, or post. A fully embodied branding element, designed to extend the experience beyond the event and organically spread on social media. The receipt also revealed who each guest truly matched with, transforming a simple object into a tool for connection.
The experience continued into the gymnasium, where, on a treadmill, a coach asked the real questions: red flags, annoying exes, emotional scars... While the audience cheered from the bleachers, this setup mixed humor, honesty, and release — a collective moment of truth designed to help participants drop façades and better identify who they could genuinely connect with.
The hallways showcased a darkly humorous trophy gallery, displaying awards with telling titles: The Annoying Ex, Friendzone Director, Ghost Master. A touch of universal irony that turned the pitfalls of modern dating into proudly owned emblems.
In the classroom, guests took their love language test. They discovered how they love, how they want to be loved, and the genuine affinities that emerged from it — a moment of introspection made fun and participatory.
The journey ended with the official Tinder School of Swipe diploma ceremony, followed by a retro American diner. Vinyls, milkshakes, and unfiltered conversations set the tone — a final space designed as a true meeting place, fostering real exchanges and emotional connections.
Every space was crafted to trigger emotion, every object to live beyond the venue, every detail to exist both live and online.
Ultimately, the Tinder School of Swipe was not just an event — it was a series of emotional acts. A place that educates, entertains, confronts, and unites. A demonstration that modern event experiences go beyond making buzz — they create lasting emotional imprints between a brand and its community.
