Styling for Adidas – Superstar 2020

For the global campaign around the Superstar 2020, Adidas staged a contemporary class photo bringing together personalities from multiple worlds: footballers, rappers, gamers, models, influencers, and more.

The challenge was to preserve each individual’s personality while uniting them under the strong identity of Adidas, instantly recognizable through its three iconic stripes. The styling had to strike a subtle balance: staying faithful to the brand’s DNA while giving each silhouette a unique sense of style and individuality.

The campaign played on the contrast between classicism, modernity, and simplicity. Vintage pieces from the textile collection created a bridge between eras while elevating the Superstar 2020. This visual dialogue highlighted Adidas’ ability to transcend generations, adapt to cultural evolutions, and speak directly to a youth in constant motion.

We therefore:

  • Styled an inclusive cast spanning multiple universes (sports, music, gaming, fashion, influence)
  • Highlighted the Superstar 2020 through iconic, instantly recognizable Adidas pieces
  • Created a balance between vintage heritage and modernity
  • Positioned Adidas as a timeless brand, capable of uniting generations and cultures around the three stripes
